Event: Submissions Open For The Misty Moon International Film Festival 2017

Calling all Film makers, actors, directors, producers and writers, submissions are now open for this year’s Misty Moon International Film Festival. The festival’s Final will be held at the prestigious Cinema Museum on Saturday the 28th October and will be judged by our panel of celebrity guest judges.

Judges announced so far are Lynn Lowry, Emma Dark, Gary Shail and Nicholas Ball, more judges to be announced over the coming weeks. The festival will be hosted by David Barry and Misty Moon’s Curator Stuart Morriss.

News: New Honorary Patron Emma Dark

Normally The Misty Moon Film Society would introduce a new Honorary Patron on Halloween as part of our birthday celebrations but this year is a little different.

I am so proud to announce that award winning actress Emma Dark has become one of our Honorary Patrons and joins Judy Matheson and David Barry as our delicious threesome, all watched over by our President Robin Askwith.

Emma will also be one of the Scream Queen Judges at this year’s Misty Moon International Film Festival at The Cinema Museum in October.

The Misty Moon Film Society is proud to announce An Evening With Simon Fisher-Becker @ FlatPlanet on Saturday the 15th August.  Simon has appeared in many stage, TV and Film productions. From playing The Fat Friar in the Harry Potter films, to Tony in Puppy Love, but Simon is most known for playing the big blue man Dorium Maldover in Doctor Who.  Join Simon for an intimate evening of chat with Misty Moon’s MC Chris Collins.  Simon is a fabulous raconteur, so the evening will be very funny and very entertaining.  Art work by Ronnie Clark.
